Soccer Player or Kung Fu Master?

So for the past week or so I have been feeling the baby... Or at least I thought it was. I kept feeling random movement in my belly and wondered if it was the baby or gas! Well tonight I can confidently say that it was the BABY! I was lying on our love sac watching T.V. and Scott was upstairs. I felt some movement and placed my hand on my belly to see if it really was the baby. Not only did our baby kick once but 3 times! I yelled for Scott to come down and placed his hand where mine was. The baby kicked 2 more times! Scott was in shock and said "We really do have a baby in there!?" I really need to do something about my husbands denial that we are having a baby... BUT regardless we felt the baby KICK!! It is a pretty cool experience and I can't wait till we can identify body parts that are jabbing me so we can decide if the baby is a Soccer player or Kung Fu Master! More on the blacksters later...

Its official

I officially have a BELLY! It could be from all the food that I have been enjoying over the holiday season OR maybe our baby is growing! It is probably a mixture. We meet with a Doula (a labor coach) tomorrow to see if we want to have her help us with the delivery. If any of you have ever heard of a Doula or used one please give me some pointers. It sounds like a good idea but not sure it will be necessary. A week from tomorrow we go in for our first ultrasound!!! I can hardly wait. We will find out what we are having and if our fetus is developing like it should... I think fetus is the most fitting name?!
